INSTALLATION
We suggest pushing the probe into the stockpile and leaving between 3,66 m and 4,57 m (12 ft. and 15 ft.)between each probe. Rotate the housing so the solar plate captures the sunlight.
ACTIVATING THE PROBE
The probe automatically activates itself when ambient light is sufficient. As it turns on, the red LED flashes to indicate the current temperature. After the activation sequence, a flashing green LED constantly indicates probing activity and safe temperature.

CAUTION: Handle manually with care and store in a safe area.
READING TEMPERATURE
At any time when the probe is active (the green light is flashing), the current temperature can be displayed by simply applying the magnet* tool onto the magnet target indicator on the side of the probe.

Example:
The probe is active.
Two red flashes: The first digit of the temperature-monitored in the stockpile is “2”.

Three red flashes: The second digit of the temperature-monitored in the stockpile is “3”. Hence, the temperature inside the monitored stockpile is 23 ºC (73 ºF).
After the temperature-display sequence, the probe returns to the initial display (green light flashing).
